I envisioned a cap born from the encounter between silky luster and a dry texture, creating a summer flat cap in a silk and linen blend that speaks of studied lightness and sartorial precision. The profile is instantly recognizable: eight calibrated panels connect harmoniously, outlining a crown with controlled volume that hugs the head without compressing it, while the front brim, shaped with precision, casts a protective shadow ideal for sunny days in the city or while traveling. The silk and linen blend is chosen to combine the cool, silky feel of silk—which dissipates heat and offers natural reflections—with the breathability and robustness of linen, ensuring instant comfort, quick drying, and a shape retention that resists wrinkles. I’ve meticulously crafted every detail: regular stitching is executed with durable thread to highlight the clean lines of the seams and ensure stability, while inside, a breathable sweatband absorbs perspiration and prevents irritation, maintaining a consistent fit from dawn to dusk.
